To commemorate City of Casselberry’s 75th Anniversary, Friends of the Park spearheaded a fund drive to help solicit funds for the planting of a specimen and historical oak tree to dedicate for “Founder’s Day”. It was our town founder, Hibbard Casselberry who understood the importance of trees and landscaping for which he donated numerous Azalea shrubs to residents who would purchase property inside his newly established town of Casselberry.
Donations would go towards purchasing and installing a large specimen oak tree that would help provide instant canopy to Lake Concord Park. Our goal is $7,500 and with your help, we can quickly attain this goal.
This replaces a current decayed tree that was recently removed. Lake Concord Park hosts various events on a monthly basis and received thousands of visitors throughout the year.
