With Spring just around the corner, the City of Casselberry and Casselberry’s Friends of the Park will be hosting the 16th annual “Earth Fest” , Seminole County’s largest Earth Day event!! The celebration will be held on Saturday April 18th, 2026 from 10 AM till 3 PM, at Lake Concord Park behind Casselberry City Hall. Our goal is to provide a positive venue and unique opportunity for participants to learn about their environment, while sponsors, vendors and artisan’s showcase their Earth-friendly products and services.

The day is composed of various activities. Some of the events taking place that day include: Arbor Day Free Tree Giveaway, children’s activities and workshops, educational workshops on tree planting, & lakeshore management... butterfly releases, recycled art exhibits, artisian exhibits. Earth Fest ‘26 is a FREE community sponsored event and made possible by the financial contributions from environmentally friendly businesses like yours.

We invite you to be a part of this special countywide event.  Enclosed is a sponsorship package for you to consider. If your business promotes environmentally friendly products or services, or care about the environment, this is a great opportunity to market your business to the Central Florida community. The deadline for the form is April 18th, 2026. You can select a sponsorship level that provides the kind of recognition you seek for your company’s environmental commitment.

We are very proud of the strong commitment our city and its volunteers have played in the success of this event last year and together we doubled our participation and attendance year after year to over 3,000 visitors and 100 vendors. We look forward to hearing from you and your organization and welcome your suggestions in participation during the planning process. This year we pledge to continue to grow its positive success for 2023, and thank you in advance for your consideration to be a part of the Earth Fest Team!

The Hosts, “Casselberry’s Friends of the Park” is a 501 (C)3 Not for Profit organization which emphasizes community outreach projects which help clean, improve our neighborhoods and environments and maintain healthy living. April 18th- WELLNESS IN THE PARK-LOOKING FOR VENDORS

Join us on April 18, 2026, for Wellness in the Park, a vibrant new health and wellness experience held in conjunction with Earth Fest ’26—the second-largest Earth Day celebration in Central Florida.

In 2019, the City of Casselberry adopted a “Healthy Community” initiative through local ordinances designed to promote active, healthy living. The addition of seven new or reimagined parks and miles of interconnected trails reflects the City’s ongoing commitment to that vision. Building on this foundation, the Earth Fest ’26 committee is proud to introduce a dedicated Healthy Lifestyle component to this year’s event.

Our goal is to curate an inclusive and comprehensive collection of businesses whose missions align with the spirit of wellness, sustainability, and community engagement. As this initiative grows, there is strong potential for Wellness in the Park to evolve into a standalone signature event in the future.

The beautiful Casselberry Art Center will serve as the hub for the day’s programming, hosting expert-led talks, workshops, and demonstrations from trained professionals across a wide range of disciplines.

We are currently seeking businesses and practitioners in the following areas:

  • Fitness & Movement

Gyms and studios, personal trainers, specialty fitness gear, yoga, Pilates, Zumba, Tai Chi, and more

  • Nutrition & Healthy Living

Dietary specialists, whole-food vendors, health-focused brands, and nourishing food providers

  • Holistic & Alternative Wellness

Natural products, energy healing, bodywork practitioners, and integrative wellness services

  • Clinical & Preventive Healthcare

Healthcare providers, specialty medical services, mental health professionals, and preventative care organizations

  • Sustainable Lifestyle & Brands

Eco-friendly retailers, environmental organizations, and community-focused groups

Earth Fest ’26 is a five-hour event showcasing eco-conscious local businesses and organizations. During this time, Wellness in the Park will activate the Casselberry Art Center with dynamic programming throughout the day. Attendees are encouraged to bring their mats and participate in indoor and outdoor classes suitable for all levels—from first-timers to advanced practitioners.

Participating wellness vendors will be thoughtfully placed adjacent to the Casselberry Art Center, creating a distinct “Village of Wellness” within the larger festival footprint.

We invite you to join us in this exciting new endeavor and take advantage of this opportunity to showcase your business while contributing to a healthier, more connected community.

Adopt-A-Tree Program

Adopt-A-Tree Program is Open!

Want a free tree in your yard? The City has a program to provide free Florida-friendly trees for homeowners within City limits!

Caring for your Florida-Friendly Tree

  1. Right tree/Right place:  Select a location considering mature size, as well as light and water needs. City staff can assist in confirming right tree/right place for your property.
  2. Yard Disturbance:  Keep in mind when the tree is planted, the hole may be three times the width of the container or root ball for the tree. Also, the top of the container soil/root crown of the tree will sit even with or slightly above the surrounding ground level.
  3. Soil: Once tree is planted, DO NOT add soil to the base of the tree or cover the root crown.
  4. Mulching: A common mistake in tree care is piling mulch over the root crown/base of the tree. Add mulch (e.g., pine straw) to the disturbed area instead.
  5. Watering New Tree: Water the planting area immediately after planting and at least daily for the first two weeks, then every other day for 3 months. After 3 months, weekly watering of 6-9 gallons per inch of trunk diameter until established (approximately 1 year from planting) and during dry periods is recommended.
  6. Watering After Establishing: Some trees are more drought resistant than others. Once the tree is established, water according to its individual needs (see specific information on individual species at www.casselberry.org/greenup or ask City Public Works staff for more information).
  7. Pruning: Do not over-prune your tree. The intent of this Adopt-A-Tree program is provide more tree canopy in the City, especially that can be enjoyed by the public (e.g., walking on a sidewalk). A common mistake is completely cutting back trees (such as crape myrtles) annually. This is unnecessary and may harm certain trees. General guidelines for proper pruning practices can be found at https://www.arborday.org/trees/tips/keys-to-pruning.cfm
  8. Pest/disease problems: Trees that tend to have a lower disease potential were purposely chosen for this program. However, if a disease or pest issue is suspected, contact Seminole County Extension volunteers for assistance Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. - Noon and 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at (407) 665-5550 or via email.
