Dog Days Of Summer
Friday, August 11 from 6-9 PM
Come have a howling great time at the Dog Days of Summer on Friday, Aug. 11, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Lake Concord Park. There will be plenty of activities for dogs and the owners including dog costume contest, dog/owner look-alike contest, dog paw art, agility course, photo ops, and more.
There will also be two bands performing, Bender Project (6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.) and Little Lazy (7:45 p.m. to 9 p.m.) Rescheduled from the rainout event in July, Kalena’s Polynesian Ohana Dance will be there to teach the crowd how to hula dancing. NOTE: ALL DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH AT ALL TIMES.
Along with the music and activities, there will be about 10 food trucks with a variety of menu options and a variety of vendor and artisan booths. While you’re in the park check out the Art House and Sculpture House for two unique art exhibitions. Disabled parking is in front of the Casselberry Art House (127 Quail Pond Circle). General parking is located at the surrounding businesses. ADA parking is in front of the Casselberry Police Department.
Casselberry Food Trucks at Lake Concord Park is held the second Friday of each month from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The pool is open daily for public swim from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Weather Permitting.
Passes are available to pre-purchase on the City of Casselberry Recreation Catalog as well as swim lessons for children 3 and up with American Red Cross certified instructors: $35.00 for three, 35 minute lessons on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. Wirz Park Pool will be closing for the season on Sunday, August 13 at 4:00 p.m. as the City of Casselberry prepares for a complete overhaul renovation to Wirz Park - with a BRAND NEW Aquatics facility.
