Doc Screening - March 21 from 6-9
Artists Dana Hargrove, Audrey Hope, Njeri Kinuthia, and Luca Molnar will exhibit their work alongside selected works from Dorothy Gillespie. Pairing these four female artists with the work of Dorothy Gillespie is intended to spark conversations regarding the difference and similarities of the artists practice and styles, GIllespie's place in the feminist art movement, and where these artists see themselves in the legacy of female artists. The four invitees live and work in the Orlando area and their work has been exhibited all over the world. Please check out their websites below for more information and to view their work.

The CAC will host a viewing of the Dorothy Gillespie documentary as a part of the programming for this exhibition. The audience will learn all about the life and work of Dorothy Gillespie and there will be a Q&A session with Gillespie's son Gary Israel.
The exhibition will be on display from February 15 through March 31

Join the City of Casselberry in the Weed Wrangle! Weed Wrangle®, in partnership with Central Florida CISMA, is a “one-day, area-wide, volunteer effort to help rescue our public parks and green spaces from non-native invasive species through hands-on removal of especially harmful trees, vines, and flowering plants”.

Vincent Ingala, who last performed in Casselberry in 2016, returns to headline the Spring Jazz and Art Festival happening on Saturday, March 8 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Lake Concord Park.
Ingala has released eight studio albums and is touring behind his most recent release, “Escape with Me.” He now has 10 No. 1 songs, including “Movin’ and Shakin’” in 2024.
The 32-year-old tenor saxophonist from Prospect, Conn., has performed with such greats as Steve Oliver, Michael Lington and Dave Koz. His style is a combination of rock n roll, soul, funk, and smooth jazz.
Opening for the show is California-based soulful singer Andrea Miller, who opened for Al Jarreau many times before his passing and has been “Jazz Artist in Residency” on Princess Cruise Lines for several years. Originally trained in opera, Miller has made the transition smoothly to jazz.

This FREE special event will be the largest jazz event this spring with music, food trucks, and art exhibits, including the opening reception inside City Hall for "Infinite"; an art exhibition featuring the work of Black artists living and working in Central Florida as well as an opening reception at the Art House titled "Drawn to Nature: from the Women Artists Group. The Sculpture House will also be open for guests to visit the Florida Artists Group exhibition of 2D and 3D works.

Art Exhibition Opening Reception

"Infinite" seeks to illuminate the Black experience in America today through the lens of Black artists whose work explores presence in the context of a timeline that expands in all directions, unending, with no beginning.
This special exhibition of work from Black artists will extend beyond Black History Month into our everyday. The work on display inside City Hall is a part of the everyday experiences of our citizens and guests. We take pride in reflecting our diverse community through the artwork we share in our public spaces. This exhibition is a collection of photographs, paintings, drawings, and more. We hope to bring people together to celebrate this collection of artwork from artists living and working throughout the community.
The work will be on display from February 24 through July 31, Monday-Thursday 9-4 PM.

Every second Friday of the month, City of Casselberry hosts it's Food Truck Fridays. Come out and join us, bring chairs and blankets and listen to live performances of local bands, while enjoying numerous food truck vendors.
Event takes place rain or shine, it's Florida so plan accordingly.
Friends of the Park usually hosts a booth with upcoming events, projects, community reach out and simple workshops for all participants.

With Spring just around the corner, the City of Casselberry and Casselberry’s Friends of the Park will be hosting the 15th annual “Earth Fest” , Seminole County’s largest Earth Day event!! The celebration will be held on Saturday April 26th, 2025 from 10 AM till 3 PM, at Lake Concord Park behind Casselberry City Hall. Our goal is to provide a positive venue and unique opportunity for participants to learn about their environment, while sponsors, vendors and artisan’s showcase their Earth-friendly products and services.
The day is composed of various activities. Some of the events taking place that day include: Arbor Day Free Tree Giveaway, children’s activities and workshops, educational workshops on tree planting, & lakeshore management... butterfly releases, recycled art exhibits, artisian exhibits. Earth Fest ‘25 is a FREE community sponsored event and made possible by the financial contributions from environmentally friendly businesses like yours.
